What is “Church”?
Church means “gathering” – we gather to Jesus, for worship, for mission1.
What is OUR Mission?
GRACE CHURCH exists to LOVE2 God & people, PROCLAIM3 Christ, BUILD4 community, EQUIP5 the saints, MULTIPLY6 ministers, and missionally SEND7 out followers of Christ to be the Church wherever we are.
What is OUR vision?
Building Christ-centered family in missional community.
How we accomplish this:
- Sunday Morning: We gather for worship, word, celebration, and sacraments at 10:30am (Children’s Church is Nursery - 3rd grade).
- Sunday Evening: 6-8pm Children's & Youth DNA for 4th through 12th grade students as well as various Adult classes
- Home Communities (HCs): We gather in homes for deeper fellowship throughout the week (see Acts 2:42-47).
1 Matt. 16:15-18, John 4:23-26, Acts 1-2
2 We are called to LOVE God and people (Mark 12:29-31).
3 We are called to PROCLAIM Christ as foundational to building His Church (Matthew 16:13-19).
4 We are called to BUILD Christ-centered covenant community (AKA “church”) based on the Bible (Acts 2:42-47).
5 Leadership has the responsibility to EQUIP you to do ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16).
6 Every Christian is responsible to be a disciple ministering with purpose to MULTIPLY disciples (1 Peter 2:9).
7 Weekly every Christian is to be SENT as a missionary to make disciples in their everyday contexts (Matthew 28:19-20)
