The central element to all worship at Grace is the Word of God. Paul writes that “faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ” (Rom. 10:17), therefore the Word is central in all we do. Our worship (the life we live and the praises we bring) is a response to the love of God displayed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ with the promise of His return.
Each Sunday we gather for worship at 10am. This time of worship includes singing, prayer, the sacraments (baptism and communion), the Word, preaching, and sharing. While worship is not just a Sunday morning activity, we believe God calls us as a local church body to corporately worship Him together as a family. We include in our Sunday services a time and space for response to the Word of God through music. The songs we sing, the style of music we select, the way we present music (through lighting, video, and sound) and the types of creative elements we integrate into a worship service, all point to loving God through vibrant and authentic worship. Our hope is to lead people’s hearts and minds in spirit-and-truth filled worship of Him.
At Grace, this is expressed through
“Ancient-Future” worship, the blending old forms with creatively new expressions. Our desire is for worship to be participatory. We seek to go deep, following ancient practices in contemporary expressions.
